CAF Throws Weight Behind Gianni Infantino Despite Mounting International Criticism

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unanimously reaffirmed its support for FIFA President Gianni Infantino, offering him a significant political boost at a time when pressure on his leadership continues to intensify across other parts of the football world.

The announcement comes after several football governing bodies criticised Infantino over recent decisions linked to FIFA’s commercial strategy and governance.
